This large home in Millwoods, Edmonton had endured some serious water damage. A bad roof design had resulted in a dead valley where water had been pooling - ice in the winter. We reshingled the entire roof, redesigned the dead valley so that all the water and snow would run off, and put an 8 foot addition onto the front porch.
The front face of this home in Edmonton used to be brick with a large, full-length planter. Over the years since its construction, however, the brick supports had deteriorated and part of the planter had collapsed leaving large parts of the brick wall cracking away from the house.
We removed the brick face and replaced it with vinyl siding to match the rest of the house and put new capping on the window trim. We then built a new, full-length planter with interlocking landscaping bricks and graded the front lawn properly.
This older bungalow was definitely needing a renovation. Between siding that was showing age, dangerously steep basement stairs, and a general lack of room, it was high-time to renovate.
The homeowner decided that she wanted to add a large sunroom at the back of the house, a covered veranda, a new stucco look, and a dramatic roof line. This was all very extensive and costly as a result, but it was worth it all as the house was located on an enormous lot backing onto Telford Lake.
Here you can see the drastic difference between the pictures before and after the renovation.
The bathrooms in this Edmonton home were aging and the customer wanted to achieve a more modern look using a combination of different tiles.
In the one bathroom we installed a new shower with glass doors and tiled the back walls. In the other, the existing tub was only a few years old and the homeowners elected to keep it. The surrounding walls were modernized with white subway tiles and glass mosaic.
We also installed rectangular black tile on the bathroom floor.
This small home in Macklin was on the last of its lifespan and was terribly run down. The owner was selling the property and wanted to upgrade it before the sale. We installed new windows and put a styrofoam insulation and vinyl siding over the existing stucco.
